The Center for Language and Intercultural Communication (CLIC), under the Office of Academic Resources and Information Technology (ARIT), Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University (NSTRU), hosted a two-day hands-on workshop titled “Teaching, Materials Development, and CEFR-Based Assessment.”

The training equipped foreign English teachers from MOU schools and partner institutions with practical strategies to design lessons, create engaging learning materials, and evaluate learners in line with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

The workshop was honored to welcome distinguished speakers: Asst. Prof. Dr. Denchai Prabjandee, Chair of the Ph.D. Program Teaching English as a Global Language, Faculty of Education, Burapha University , and Ajarn Chanaichon Damsri, Deputy Director of ARIT, NSTRU.

Through interactive lectures, hands-on practice, knowledge-sharing sessions, and group presentations, participants gained actionable insights they can immediately implement in their classrooms.

This initiative forms part of NSTRU’s “Rajabhat University Strategic Project for Local Development,” reaffirming the university’s commitment to raising regional English-language standards.

CLIC extends its heartfelt appreciation to our speakers, all participants, and the dedicated CLIC team whose collaboration ensured the workshop’s resounding success. Stay tuned for more professional development opportunities
