On August 29, 2025, Dr. Sompong Raksathum, Acting President of Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, gave words of encouragement to two students — Mr. Hernfa Thongyodrak and Mr. Manatchai Chaiphate, fourth-year students from the Business English Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences — before their departure to undertake a one-year professional internship at Chengdu University, People’s Republic of China.
The students will complete their internships at five-star hotels, under the academic collaboration between the School of Tourism, Chengdu University, and the Business English Program, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University. In addition to their professional training, the students will also engage in joint research projects consisting of five papers, aiming to integrate academic development with practical experience.
This collaborative program is coordinated by the Chengdu University Center at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, in cooperation with the Division of International Strategy and Relations, to strengthen international partnerships and foster global learning opportunities for students.
